Expect to see the artist in the video                               

Obvious genre shown, being able to establish by the sound and mise

Normally high production value, such as lighting and costumes                             

Normally have a narrative or a symbolic code                                                                  

A lot of mise en scene is obvious such as make up

Can either show a performance or have a soft story, e.g. artist singing and dancing or acting out a story

Variety of shots and camera angles are shown throughout e.g. close up on female artists, long shot of location

In my video, I will consider representations that could be included, such as age and gender. I will also think about the specific elements that are commonly seen within a music video, such as mise en scene; lighting and costume.
